Our Master Aesthetician Steven talks about two of his favorite skin care products at the DeRosa Center.
Here are two wonderful products that won’t irritate sensitive, acne, or rosacea prone skin. If you have rosacea or acne, choosing a good foundation that won’t worsen your condition can be a real nightmare. You want to cover the embarrassing flare-ups, but you don’t want to clog your pores or aggravate your symptoms.
I highly recommend EltaMD UV Elements. It contains the calming ingredient, protective zinc oxide, which is naturally anti-inflammatory. This product is hydrating and protective against sun damage and has a universal tint.
Another great product to try is Oxygenetix. This oxygenating foundation has a breathable formula that minimizes the appearance of breakouts, blemishes, rashes, acne scars and rosacea. It also comes in a large variety of shades to match your skin tone perfectly. It helps to speed up skin healing with a super charged oxygen complex, and can be applied after most skin treatments. This product is free from parabens, oils, fragrance and even water. It is Aloe based to provide comfort and hydration. With an SPF of 25, it protects your skin from the sun’s damaging rays.
