Lumenis M22 Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)

How does it work?
Light pulses penetrate the tissue and create heat, targeting the skin imperfection in a controlled manner. The body's natural process then removes the treated tissue while collagen and elastic fiber stimulation occur, resulting in a visible improvement in skin tone and overall appearance.
What is the treatment process?
To ensure the utmost comfort, a cold gel will be applied to the treatment area. Depending on your specific concern, the treatment can last 15 – 30 minutes.
You may experience a warm sensation as the light is applied to the skin, but the treatment is gentle and should not feel uncomfortable.
What should I expect and when will I see results?
Some skin concerns, such as shallow pigmentation and age/sun spots, can be cleared with as few as 1 – 2 treatments. Typically, 2 – 6 sessions with 2 – 4 weeks in between are needed to achieve optimal results for most concerns.
Immediately following treatment, you may experience some redness, depending on your customized treatment. The redness will usually disappear within a few hours. In most cases, makeup may be applied immediately after, and we recommend Oxygenetix foundation. Daily activities can be resumed on the very same day. Typically, you are advised to stay out of direct sun for a week and daily sunscreen is a must!
Candela™ Profound Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling Wrinkle and Cellulite Treatment
Profound RF is the first and only FDA-approved microneedling device cleared for treating the face and body. This state-of-the-art treatment blends radiofrequency (RF) technology with microneedling to naturally stimulate hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin production in the dermal and subcutaneous layers of the skin. It is a minimally invasive alternative to surgery, injectables, and dermal fillers and is designed to:

How does it work?

What is the treatment process?
Temperature-controlled radiofrequency energy is directed into the skin through a handpiece containing ultra-fine (micro) needles. Once the handpiece is positioned over the treatment area(s), RF (heat) energy is released in controlled spurts to a precise depth, which triggers your body to produce elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid. The result is a procedure clinically proven to lift, contour, and smooth the skin.
What can I expect?
In most cases, a local anesthetic is used to numb treatment areas and enhance patient comfort. You may notice minor discomfort, redness, bruising, and swelling once in the first few days following your procedure. Tissue sloughing (shedding) may also occur in the treatment areas. Our team can provide helpful tips on how to alleviate any uncomfortable symptoms during this time. Treatment with nonsurgical Profound RF carries little downtime when compared with surgical alternatives and generally only lasts about one week.
When will I notice the results?
Most patients notice a significant improvement in the appearance of the skin after only one treatment. To optimize results, you may wish to schedule a second treatment about six months later. Annual treatments may be desired to help maintain aesthetic outcomes.
C02RE Laser
As the first fully integrated C02 laser, C02RE is medically cleared to perform over 100 indications in 10 specialties. It is specifically designed to aid in procedures that require excision, incision, ablation, coagulation, or resurfacing of soft tissue.

How does it work?
Before the procedure begins, patients will be asked to relax in one of our treatment chairs. Once they're comfortable, our staff will gently glide the laser handpiece over the targeted areas of skin. The C02RE uses C02 energy to create columns within the skin, leaving the surrounding skin unscathed in order to stimulate the healing process. Once the body begins to heal, the body pushes out old, damaged skin from these newly created channels and replaces it with newer, healthier skin.
What is the treatment process?
Depending on the intensity of your treatment, you may be prescribed certain medications before and/or after the treatment in order to ensure your body is able to heal properly. Additionally, we may use a topical anesthetic to keep you comfortable throughout the entirety of the procedure.
What should I expect and when will I see results?
Typically, patients describe the post-treatment sensation in the targeted area as feeling no worse than a bad sunburn. This feeling can last anywhere from 12 – 48 hours but will slowly subside on its own. Outside of this sensation and some mild redness, there are very few side effects associated with the treatment. Patients will typically only need one session with the C02RE laser in order to reach their desired results. However, in some rare cases, multiple treatments will be required. We also may recommend scheduling regular maintenance sessions in order to keep your results looking fresh.
Candela Gentlemax Pro Laser
This state-of-the-art device utilizes laser thermal energy to treat a variety of imperfections on the skin. Best of all, there is often little or even no downtime associated with its many forms of treatment. The Candela Gentlemax Pro laser can be used to:
• Permanently remove undesired or excess hair
• Eliminate sun spots and benign keratoses on virtually all areas of the body
• Reduce the appearance of facial redness and/or broken blood vessels
• Tighten the skin
How does it work?
The Gentlemax Pro utilizes a small handpiece that is slowly passed over the targeted areas of the face and/or body. This handpiece emits a powerful beam of light, which is converted into thermal energy when it comes into contact with the skin. This heat is absorbed by the surrounding skin cells without affecting the skin in nearby areas. In order to ensure the patient's absolute comfort and safety at all times, this platform makes use of Candela's Dynamic Cooling Device™, which prevents the skin from absorbing too much heat.
What is the treatment process?
Patients will generally have the treatment area numbed with a topical anesthetic about 20 – 30 minutes before the procedure. Our staff will begin gliding the handpiece over the affected area(s). The Gentlemax Pro can be used for a variety of procedures, including hair removal, skin tightening, and color correction of the skin due to afflictions, such as sun spots and broken blood vessels.
What should I expect and when will I see results?
Immediately after the procedure, we will usually apply a cool compress or aloe vera in order to soothe the skin in the treated area. After this, patients will be free to return to their daily schedule without worrying about the treatment holding them back. There may be some slight redness and/or swelling, but these symptoms will naturally fade within only a few hours. It is important, however, to apply sunblock of at least SPF 30 due to your skin's sensitivity to direct sunlight because of the treatment. We also ask patients to refrain from using abrasive skin cleansers in the first few days after their procedure.
Results can vary, depending on the procedure, with some even being visible immediately at the conclusion of the treatment. On the other hand, some treatments or severe conditions may require multiple sessions in order to achieve the desired results.
