Most people want beautiful skin with a fresh and natural glow. When wrinkles and skin damage add years to your appearance, AQUAGOLD® Fine Touch™ can help you turn back the hands of time. AQUAGOLD treatment at DeRosa Center Facial Plastic Surgery & Med Spa is a nonsurgical procedure that combines the advanced technology behind microneedling with the proven benefits of cosmetic injectables.
Big-name celebrities and adults of all ages love AQUAGOLD wrinkle treatment because it is customized to your skin type and desired results. Double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Jaimie DeRosa offers this advanced method of facial rejuvenation at our facility in Boston, MA. To discover the benefits of AQUAGOLD and injectables, such as BOTOX®, JUVÉDERM®, and Restylane®, schedule a skin consultation.
How does AQUAGOLD work?
AQUAGOLD treatment involves the use of gold-plated, stainless steel needles. These tiny needles stimulate natural collagen production and open microchannels on the surface of the skin. Microchannels allow products like wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers to be delivered more effectively throughout the skin. At DeRosa Center Facial Plastic Surgery & Med Spa, we can even also deliver beneficial treatments such as Vitamin C directly into the dermis. This effectively treats aging and wrinkled skin.
Candidates for skin tightening
AQUAGOLD wrinkle treatment is perfect for people who want a youthful appearance but are not ready for invasive plastic surgery. The fine needles on the handpiece minimize damage and reduce your risk of getting an allergic reaction, making treatment more comfortable than other forms of facial rejuvenation. While this procedure is safe for most skin types, patients with active acne should wait until their skin has healed to schedule AQUAGOLD. Benefits of AQUAGOLD Fine Touch in Boston, MA, include:
-
Leaves your skin dewy and luminous
-
Shrinks pores and smoothes fine lines
-
Generally comfortable and pain-free
-
Fast recovery
How AQUAGOLD wrinkle treatment works
At DeRosa Center Facial Plastic Surgery & Med Spa, you can experience skin renewal with a personalized microneedling procedure. Our first step is to identify the areas that need help during a consultation, including wrinkles, dull skin, loss of volume, or a combination of skin issues. We then clean the skin of any makeup or oils, and apply a topical numbing cream. Once the AQUAGOLD device is carefully passed over the skin, we apply a cold compress or soothing serum to minimize any side effects.
Microneedling aftercare and results
Patients are free to return to their day as normal following their microneedling procedure. This is because the tiny needles produce very little redness and irritation. However, you may notice some skin sensitivity for a short amount of time. Based on whether we chose BOTOX, JUVÉDERM, or Restylane for your skin tightening, you may see some results almost instantly or over the next several days. Your outcome will continue to improve as the micro-injuries stimulate new collagen beneath the surface of the skin.
