Boston woman sought rhinoplasty to make the nose smaller so that it fit her face
Procedure Details
This lovely 24 year old female wanted to reduce size and shape of her nose so that it could fit with the rest of her facial features. She did not like the large size of her nose and the large bone and cartilage bump on the bridge of her nose. Dr. Jaimie DeRosa, MD, double board certified facial plastic surgeon, performed an open rhinoplasty and used septal cartilage to help support the nose with grafting. In surgery, she removed the dorsal hump and made the overall size of the nose smaller so that it fit this patient's face better. Dr. DeRosa made the nasal tip smaller and moved it back so that it didn't stick out as far from the face, too.
