Boston-area teenage male has functional rhinoplasty to correct nose after trauma
Procedure Details
This teenager came into the Back Bay, Boston DeRosa Clinic to seek correction of nasal deformity. He had broken his nose when he was a child and then again as a teen. He did not want drastic changes made to his nose, but he did want the nose to look normal. He also had trouble breathing through the left side of the nose. Dr. DeRosa performed a reconstructive rhinoplasty to open his nasal breathing and straighten his nasal bones. He underwent functional open septorhinoplasty to correct his crooked nose and open his nasal breathing. After surgery he was able to breathe well, and his nose looked great.
