CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) MICRONEEDLING

CIT, also known in the industry as Microneedling, is a breakthrough technology that gently stimulates the growth of collagen, which then improves the appearance of some scars and wrinkles. CIT is a dramatic treatment for problems including fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and acne scarring. This quick and effective treatment delivers laser-like results without the downtime. CIT Microneedling creates micro wounds into the skin which stimulates collagen and elastin production. This treatment reduces fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. It helps to lighten age spots and enhance the skin’s tone, texture and luminosity.

The DeRosa Clinic is excited to announce the arrival of our new, state-of-the-art CIT microneedling device: the Collagen P.I.N.!

The new Collagen P.I.N. is an upgraded and highly advanced version of the former Collagen PEN that will produce faster results in half the time.

The P.I.N.’s tiny needles glide across the skin, creating a fractioned injuries to the dermal-epidermal layer. This micro-injury breaks down old scar tissue, stimulates collagen and elastin, and gives you smooth, healthy skin.

7 New Speeds Instead of 3!

The new speeds make it possible to more deeply and effectively penetrate the skin.

36 Needles Instead of 12

That’s three times the effectiveness and results.

Dermaplaning removes dead skin and fine hairs, allowing the CIT treatment penetrate deeper plus LED light therapy after the CIT treatment to hasten healing and stimulate collagen.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP is great for all skin types and ages. We spin down a tiny vial of your own blood to obtain a special concentration of platelets that are crucial to wound healing. When used for skin rejuvenation, PRP releases growth factors into the skin to expedite the body’s own repair process and stimulate new collagen and elastin. PRP also aids in the reduction of inflammation.

We currently offer Biopelle’s Tensage Growth Factor, which is ideal for all ages and skin types. It’s an intensive serum derived from land snail secretions which have been used for many years to help heal and repair the skin. This serum is used during CIT to aid in collagen and elastin production, shorten healing time, reduce redness, maintain & optimize results.

10% Vitamin C

This serum can be applied to the skin during CIT. It is a great add-on for clients with normal to drier skin who want to address hyper-pigmentation concerns and to brighten the skin. This high concentration of Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, and will regulate melanin production.

PRR 4% (Protein Rich Retinol 4%)

The PRR 4% add-on is excellent for clients who have oily/acneic skin and also those with normal to dry skin (but not for those whith sensitive skin types). This 4% retinol formulation is micro encapsulated with amino acids that are slowly released into the skin’s dermis, which minimized irritation. Protein rich retinol improves collagen production, prevents further collagen breakdown, helps cellular turnover, decreases pigmentation, and improves skin tone and texture.

Does it hurt?
A light numbing agent may be applied for 30 minutes prior to treatment to lessen potential discomfort. CIT Microneedling is most often described as mildly uncomfortable but not painful.
