Dr. DeRosa’s philosophy is to listen to and evaluate each patient’s concerns while taking into consideration the person as a whole. She also strives to achieve natural results that will stand the test of time. In procedures such as rhinoplasty, she strongly believes that optimizing function is equally as important as aesthetics.
After graduating college with a bachelors in science with distinction from the University of Virginia, Dr. DeRosa pursued a masters in science at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute/SUNY @ Buffalo. She then completed her medical degree at SUNY@ Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, where she graduated magna cum laude. Dr. DeRosa underwent otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency training at Boston University, acting as administrative chief resident during the final year. She then pursued intensive fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery in Chicago.

While seeking a more personalized boutique approach to medicine, in 2013 Dr. DeRosa entered into private practice located in the Back Bay neighborhood of Boston. She still maintains admitting and operating privileges at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she continues her involvement as a resident teacher. She treats all aspects of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including a focus on rhinoplasty. Dr. DeRosa works diligently to address the needs of her patients in the safest and most meticulous manner possible, while at the same time keeping her patients’ needs her top priority. Before undergoing any treatment or procedure, patients should always feel comfortable with his or her physician and have a good understanding of the goals and objectives.
